We are delighted to announce that Hastee has been named a finalist in the TechRound100, which ranks the top 100 start-ups in the UK that have been praised for their innovation and contribution to the UK’s fast-growing start-up scene.
The announcement follows a week of judging from an expert panel including Mark Wright, former winner of The Apprentice and named in The Timeโs Top 100 UK Entrepreneurs – and Adam Brodie of Ignition Financial who has advised on 15 successful exits and acquisitions in Europe, US and Asia.
Previous finalists of the TechRound100 have included Monzo, Beam, Revolut and PensionBee โ and this year has seen Too Good to Go, Curve, Mine and All Plants take the top spots.
Our Hastee Founder and CEO, James Herbert added: โItโs great to see that all the hard work that the team puts in is getting recognised by top publications such as TechRound. Itโs also exciting to see the company we are keeping, even pipping Joe Wicks, of The Body Coach fame, in the rankings!โ
TechRound co-Founder Daniel Tannenbaum commented: โWe are delighted by the influx of enquiries for the TechRound100. The UK is quickly becoming the start-up nation of the world and it is not hard to see why. The ideas, the passion and outside-the-box thinking is unrivalled.โ
โWe saw a huge growth in entries from Fintech, AI-driven companies and those focusing on sustainability and the environment. Products that are getting the most momentum are able to save time and money for their customers โ and if there is an AI process to drive this, even better. Across food and fashion, people are starting to think environment-first and how not only their product can be enjoyed, but sustainable too.โ
TechRound co-Founder David Soffer commented: โThe UK has, in the last few years really come into its own as the place to be for start-ups of all types and nature from around the world.”
“The UK’s start-up scene continues to grow, improve, flourish and give rise to truly remarkable and incredible start-ups and tech businesses, which we are delighted to celebrate through the TechRound100. No matter what life throws at the UK, be it changes in how we do business, changes to our way of life and instability throughout the world, the UK start-up scene has fast become one of the pillars of growth and prosperity for the UK and the wider economy. Some of these companies are doing some amazing things and we should all join in celebrating that.”
